Host Your Event at the William & Mary Alumni House
Within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg’s shops and hotels, the William & Mary Alumni House is a versatile venue set within the beauty and charm of William & Mary's historic campus. Whether you're planning a celebration, corporate event, reunion or special occasion, your guests will enjoy easy access to Williamsburg's dining, accommodations and attractions, including world-class golf, Busch Gardens, wineries and more.
Venue Amenities and Event Services
Our venue is equipped to support events of all styles and sizes. We provide tables and chairs, as well as full setup and breakdown of event equipment to ensure a seamless experience. A stage and 21' x 21' dance floor are also available to enhance your event, with setup and breakdown offered for an additional fee. Basic audiovisual capabilities — including microphones, a podium, screens, projectors and background music — are included to support your program or celebration. Your rental also includes dedicated time for event setup, professional housekeeping services and onsite support throughout your event.
Event Spaces
Our newly renovated, state-of-the-art ballroom, Hunter Hall, offers a flexible and elegant setting for a wide variety of events. The space welcomes up to 400 guests in a standing or theater-style arrangement, or 250 guests seated at 6-foot rounds, and can be divided into two sections with a built-in airwall. Hunter Hall also provides convenient access to our outdoor spaces, including the Walled Garden and Clarke Memorial Plaza.
On the second floor, Leadership Hall offers additional versatility, accommodating up to 70 guests banquet-style, 100 for a standing reception or 125 theater-style, with access to the adjacent Ukrop Terrace. Multiple breakout rooms throughout the house provide space for smaller sessions, many of which come equipped with Zoom-capable computer setups.
